ABOUT ALIYAH

Aliyah Good was born in Nashville, TN, raised on the road and on the stage. She started singing at 3 years of age performing with her parents at fairs and festivals across the US. Her big voice has been described as “a force of nature” by BMG industry veteran Bobby Rymer. Now 20 years old, Aliyah has been writing her own music for 5 years. Her music infuses sounds of country-pop, alternative and indie bedroom pop. “When I started writing and performing my own songs,” says Aliyah, “it just felt so natural. Sharing my feelings and laying it all out there for the world to hear, it’s scary and exciting at the same time. There’s just something so satisfying about making that connection with other people and saying yeah, we’re not alone in all of this and life can be hard”. Good was invited to join the esteemed Song Suffragettes at the Listening Room by the age of 14 and also plays writer rounds regularly in Nashville at Ole Red, Tin Roof, True Music Room, Alley Taps, Belcourt Taps and recently played Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles, Breaking Sound Miami, Writers Block LA, a Sofar Sounds show in Atlanta, and the Bitter End in NYC. She has been featured in a Feed the Children infomercial and co-hosted a special for GAC. Look for Aliyah’s 8 song EP out soon, from which her first single arrived on October 28th with a music video premiering on CMT.com.
